
Deposit & Payment
We require a $40 deposit by credit card at the time of booking, $20 of which is non-refundable for any reason.
Full Payment minus the deposit is due at the time of the flight by cash, etransfer, or cheque. If none of these options are possible, payment by credit card is accepted at an additional 5% to cover processing fees.
Payment exception for “Day Trips” and “Ride-Alongs”
“Day Trips” and “Ride-alongs” are available on select days only and they are offered at a significant discount because they are used to reposition the aircraft for flights at our satellite bases. We require full payment for these flights at the time of booking because the aircraft will be required to fly the route even if passengers cancel. Refunds and reschedules for any reason are not available but the flight is transferable if you would like to give/sell it to someone else – if this is the case we require the new passengers’ contact information and weights. The only exception to the refund policy is if the pilot determines that the flight is not possible due to unsuitable weather, if this is the case the pilot will contact the passengers who will have the option to either reschedule or receive a full refund.
To Cancel or Reschedule Your Flight
For cancellations or rescheduling we require a phone call and we will issue the following partial refund: $20 refund with at least 5 days notice, or $10 refund with at least 24 hours notice. The flight is transferable if you would like to give/sell it to someone else – if this is the case we require the new passengers’ contact information and weights.
Note: “Day Trips” and “Ride-alongs” are 100% non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled but you can transfer them to someone else by providing us with the new passengers’ details.
Refund for Weather Cancellations
The only exception to the above refund policy is if the pilot determines that the flight is not possible due to unsuitable weather, if this is the case the pilot will contact the passengers who will have the option to either reschedule or receive a full refund.
Passenger Weather Cancellations
If you would like very specific weather or cloud conditions for your flight we recommend waiting until the day before the flight to book as we cannot issue refunds based on passenger preferences when the weather is suitable for flying. Please see our Weather Information page for more information.
Late passenger arrivals
Passengers are asked to arrive 15 mins. before their booked time. We aim to stay on schedule and we appreciate customers being ready right on time. If passengers arrive after their booked time they may have to forfeit some of their flight time in order for the pilot to be able to stay on schedule, flight price will not be reduced in this situation.
